Agreement promotes more MBA students

The University of Saskatchewan's Edwards School of Business and the Western College of Veterinary Medicine (WCVM) signed a five-year agreement on January 27, 2014, aiming at facilitating top students in the WCVM to pursue the Edwards Master of Business Administration (MBA) program.

Similar to an existing partnership agreement between Edwards and the U of S College of Medicine, this agreement aims at top veterinary students who have an interest in business and leadership roles in their profession.

Under this agreement, both Edwards and WCVM will jointly provide funding to offset up to half of the MBA tuition for these students.

A maximum of five WCVM students will be admitted each year to study in the Edwards MBA program before the final year of their DVM program.

This agreement also means that there is more than $100,000 in scholarships and bursaries each year for Edwards MBA students.
