Help WCVM with northern animal rescue

As thousands of northern Saskatchewan residents flee their homes to avoid encroaching forest fires, pets have been left behind.

Many of these communities also have a pre-existing stray dog problem, with animals relying on humans for food.

Northern Animal Rescue is attempting to feed and evacuate those animals left behind.

The volunteer group is seeking donations of blankets, towels, beds and food, which are being collected by the Pack Project.

Your donations can be dropped off at the WCVM Veterinary Medical Centre's Small Animal Clinic on the U of S campus (on Veterinary Road). Another donation drop-off point in Saskatoon is PetSmart at the Preston Crossing Centre (Preston Avenue).

Thank you for your help!
