Pet behaviour sessions for owners and veterinarians

Dr. Karen Machin, a resident in clinical behaviour and an associate professor in the WCVM's Department of Veterinary Biomedical Sciences, is offering two continuing education (CE) and two pet owner-focused sessions this spring.

    Topic: strategies for preventing dog bites (in recognition of National Dog Bite Prevention Week)

  • Tuesday, May 17 (7-8:15 p.m. CST)
    Topic: how to socialize your new puppy 

Our speaker

Dr. Karen Machin (DVM, PhD) is a resident in animal behaviour and an associate professor in the WCVM's Department of Veterinary Biomedical Sciences. She is a lifelong animal owner and a founder of New Hope Dog Rescue in Saskatoon, Sask.
